Daniel Thurler
(Played Schwyzerörgeli on "Holiday Romeo" and "Last minute Lucy")
Daniel Thürler grew up in the Gruyeres region. At age eight, Daniels first stage experience was with his father Werner as a percussionist with the wooden spoons. Fast forward thirty years and with plenty of determination and hard work, with his fellow musicians, he has been seen and heard many times on TV and radio. Some highlights included the concert for the King of Singapore, as show musician for Bertrand Piccard, opening of the new Swiss embassy in Moscow, International Folklore Festival in China, and an anniversary for Hublot Paris with Alain Delon, 1st August celebration with Top Secret drummers in New York. Among other things, Daniel travelled with his Schwyzerörgeli to Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, Germany, France, Spain, Barcelona, Ireland, Nashville, North Carolina, Kenya, Morocco, Portugal, England, Amsterdam, Greece, England and others. In June 2018, the first solo album by Daniel Thürler "Train to Louisiana" came on the market.
Nobody else could have given that very tex-mex sound to the song “Holiday Romeo” and such a drive to “Last Minute Lucy” on Claudia Zimmermann’s new album “Truly Country”
Daniel lives in Jaun, Switzerland. His website is here.
